A slight chance of storms in a moderately unstable atmosphere was enough for Ben and me to drive all the way to the Ardennes again. During the first chase of the season you always tend somewhat more risk in finding your target area.
Anyway, we drove via Maastricht to Belgium, but unfortunately we ended up in Luik and choosing the wrong way from there. We lost precious time and had no visible target. Driving through the Ardennes and ending in Luxemburg, we didn't encounter one single storm. yes, we did see one, about 200 km to the east, over Germany. Well, to make a long story short; we busted on our first chase of the year!
