| This day we had to go well south in order so see some decent convection. We knew there was hardly any cap present, but with nearby Ardennes mountains you may always expect a well developed storm. So we headed to Belgium. After some time we did manage to intercept some storms, but there weren't photogenic at all. Just massive rain-producers, with frequent lightning though. It was nice to be surrounded by these highly electrified storms, but overall this chase wasn't worth the effort. |
