| This day several supercell storms formed over the Netherlands. As I had to work I wasn't able to chase any of these. Fortunately one passed my location so my collegue Ben and I rushed out to shoot some photos. The updraft was vere low-based with obvious rotation visible. Hardly any rain fell on our location, but in Baarn (about 5 km to the north) a cloudburst occured. Later this cell spawned possible tornadoes near Amersfoort and Garderen. |
