April 15 2008:
Still no stable weather conditions in the Netherlands. Spring is already halfway and the Netherlands didn't see one period with stable weather and high temperatures remained (well) below 15 degrees. That doesn't mind that much for the average weather enthusiast like me, but for others it's a real pain.
I enjoy the beautiful contrasts in the sky from time, especially when Spring showers are passing by. Last Saturday one of those showers was especially breathtaking and I even observed a freak CG! It was the first cloud to ground lightning strike I have seen since moving to Utrecht last September.

April 1 2008:
March 2008 turned out to be extremely wet in the Netherlands, some places received about 140mm precipitation. This resulted in a top 10 position of wettest March months since 1901. It was also quite sunny though with a near normal mean temperature (first half was mild, second half cold).
