March 2002 March 28 2002:
The calm, sunny and dry weather continues. Still frost in the night, but daytime temperatures are slowly climbing.

March 25 2002:
Nice spring weather with little or no rain the last couple of days. Not very warm though; during the night still some frost. Twenthe reported -5,2°C last night.
Some trees already have some leaves. Very early for the time of year!

March 19 2002:
A nice line of storms yesterday evening! I went to the Soester Engh to photograph them at sunset. Beautiful colors! Also there was some graupel and I saw about 6 pink(!) lightningflashes.
In some parts of the country one could see spectacular mammatusclouds at sunset.

Chaselog and pictures

March 16 2002:
Last wednesday and thursday it was much colder with frost in the night and max.temps of 5°C. Some parts of the country even got some snow! Brrrr.
Today mild air returned with plenty sunshine. Temperatures reached 16 degrees again!

March 9 2002:
Nice springweather the last couple of days. Warm enough to spend a few hours on the balcony in a t-shirt!

In the late afernoon an active storm passed southern parts of the country with hail, lightning and gusts up to 44 m/s! There were also reports of fabulous mammatusclouds, but unfortunately not in my hometown.

March 6 2002:
Changed the site layout. Hope you like this better!

March 2 2002:
A clear and cold night. My thermometer measured -3,3°C, but the official station Soesterberg reported -7,1°C!
Today springweather with lots of sunshine

Added new pictures to the Spring section.

March 1 2002:
Added new Photo of the Month.

February 2002 was extremely mild, wet and sunny in Holland. Winter 2001/2002 overall was mild, wet and sunny also.
