May 31 2004:
From Friday on it turned much warmer in The Netherlands. Yesterdays highs reached 27 degrees in northeastern parts of the country.
An active frontal system moved slowly from southwest to northeast yesterday, which resulted in heavy rainfall at some locations. I observed a weak thunderstorm during the evening hours, but nothing worth chasing.

May 20 2004:
Well I have nothing more to add to the description of Dutch weather stated on May 12. Only this; an odd thunderstorm formed over southeastern Netherlands last night. No storms to chase though!

May 12 2004:
Weather is quite boring these days. Mainly dry with some sunny spells, but SC-fields as well and temperatures somewhat below normal.

Added chase log with pictures of the April 28 chase

Added new pictures to the following pages:
- Spring
- Cumulus humilis
- Cumulus congestus
- Pileus clouds
- Mammatus clouds
- Shelf clouds
- Fog
- Halo displays

May 9 2004:
Added a new Photo of the Month.
Updated the Links Page.

April 2004 was very mild, quite sunny and had the normal amount of rain. April 30th was the warmest day with highs up to 25 degrees at some locations.

Later on April 30 (Queens Day) active thunderstorms formed over southern parts of the country with local large hail.
From April 30th till May 8th I stayed in the Czech Republic for holiday. Weather was pretty good for walking and visits to Prague. I saw a few weak electrical thunderstorms on May first.
